"heavily inspired by project cambria as part of inkandswitchhttps://www.inkandswitch.com/cambria/" and directly relevant to Groundmist: "Lexicon Lenses [allow]... record transformation... use cases and features:"

  • AppViews can "support a narrow representation of a record" to display it.
  • Lexicon creators can "conform to another Lexicon schema while preserving their own", so they won't have to support many
  • allow "transformation from past versions to new"

As a result, apps can work with new and dynamic lexicons, at scale, without burdening developers.
